OPPD operates four base-load plants that generate electricity on a full-time basis (per year) basis. They are North Omaha Station, Fort Calhoun Station, Nebraska City Station and Elk City Station.

In addition, OPPD has three peaking stations that are used to supplement power needs as needed.
