Vice Chair of the Omaha Public Power District’s Board of Directors, Ann McGuire has an extensive medical background. She’s a former nurse educator, clinician and researcher who served as editor and co-author to two university textbooks.
Her current community roles include:
- President of the Creighton University Jaybackers
- Board of Directors of GESU Housing, Inc.
- Children’s Physicians Board of Directors
Ms. McGuire previously served as Chair of the OPPD Board of Directors, Vice-Chair, Treasurer and Secretary.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Creighton University, a master’s degree in nursing from St. Louis University and a Business in Brief certificate from Creighton University. She is also a Spirit of Creighton Award Recipient.
