Del Weber is chancellor emeritus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he served from 1977 to 1997. Previous positions included Arizona State University, where he served as professor and dean of education, 1969 to 1977, and Cleveland State University where he held the positions of assistant to the president and secretary of the Board of Trustees from 1965 to 1969.
Served as president of Omaha Community Foundation from 1997 to 2002.
He holds degrees from Midland College and the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, in addition to several honorary degrees and is a published author. He is and has been involved in several community and professional organizations.
Previously served as Chairman of the Board, Vice Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary.
Dr. Weber and his wife, Lou Ann, have three children.
