Del Weber is chancellor emeritus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he served from 1977 to 1997.
Previous positions include:
- Arizona State University, professor and dean of education (1969 to 1977)
- Cleveland State University, assistant to the president and secretary of the Board of Trustees (1965 to 1969)
- Omaha Community Foundation, President (1997 to 2002)
Dr. Weber holds degrees from Midland College and the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, in addition to several honorary degrees. He is also a published author and continues to be involved with several community and professional organizations.
Previously, Dr. Weber served as Chairman of the Board, Vice Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary. He and his wife, Lou Ann, have three children.
