Essential Services
Adrian J. Minks joined OPPD in 1988 as manager of Corporate Computer Planning in the Information Services Division, and subsequently was named manager of Corporate Data Asset Administration. In 1990, she was named executive assistant to the president and in 1992 became division manager of Customer Sales & Service.
Ms. Minks was promoted to vice president in January 2002 and oversees Essential Services, which includes Material Management, Facilities Management, Information Technology, Business Strategy & Analysis, Governmental Affairs, and Sustainable Energy & Environmental Stewardship.
She serves on the Board of Trustees for the Wayne State College Foundation and on the Governing Board of the Alliance for Business Ethics at Creighton University. She currently chairs the Information Technology Advisory group for the Omaha Chamber of Commerce. She is past chairperson of the University of Nebraska - Omaha Alumni Association and past president of the Omaha YWCA Board of Directors. She has served on the boards of North American Technician Excellence, and the Institute for Career Advancement Needs.
Ms. Minks received her Bachelor of Science degree in business with honors from Wayne State College, and holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
