Mohamad I. Doghman

Mohamad Doghman began his OPPD career in 1989 as a senior engineer in the substation engineering department. Mr. Doghman has served in many leadership roles during his career including system engineer, principal engineer, and department manager of substation and system protection construction and operation. In 2006, he was named division manager of Transmission and Distribution Engineering. Mr. Doghman was promoted to vice president in February 2010 to oversee Transmission and Distribution Engineering and Operations.

Mr. Doghman serves on the Midwest Energy Association steering committee, the Heartland Latino Leadership corporate advisory board, and the University of Nebraska electrical engineering steering committee. He is a graduate of the Leadership Omaha program of the Greater Omaha Chamber and serves to strengthen our community.

Mr. Doghman holds an executive master’s of business administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, a master’s of science in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri at Columbia, and a bachelor’s of science in electrical engineering from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He has also completed the nuclear reactor technology course at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Doghman is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and a licensed Professional Engineer in Nebraska.

He and his wife, Mary, have two children.
