Summary of this month’s accomplishments: Built the frame, modified to fit different drivers, changed to a new steering mechanism, made brakes and steering adjustable, changed the location of the gas to the bottom of the car thus changing the idea of the hand lever to a foot pedal, made pedals on the brakes so they only require one foot in order to maneuver them, made the steering removable with pins so it’s easier to enter and exit, also adjusted the steering down to see clearer over it.
Describe the state of completion of your vehicle: The wheels and frame are complete. The gas and brake pedals are on, along with the steering. The car is able to be operated and is good to be driven. The only thing to be done is the frame and the wires.
Did the accomplishments of this month meet the objectives of your work plan: Yes we have over succeeded expectations.
Identify specific problems, information of skills needed or help required: Having the inconvenience of tools, making the car adjustable for two way different sizes (female build of 5’6” to a built 6’ male), bending evenly, steering accidentally put on upside down, shaping roll-bar, and weight distribution with two different weights.
Identify where you plan to go get the information, skills, or help needed: People that you need to talk to about different parts, the teacher, or people who have knowledge of specific problems.
Plans for next month: get the body done, build the canopy and finish wiring.
February Monthly Report

Summary of this month’s accomplishments: We pop riveted the canopy to a hand made conduit frame, riveted tin to the bottom for the floor board, put lexan glass on the roll bar on both sides, cut and folded the tin body onto the outsides, pop riveted the tin body to the outside of the frame, changed the gas pedal from being hand operated to being hand operated to foot operated, and changed the brake to being smaller and less heavy.
Describe the state of completion of your vehicle: All we really have to do is finish the wiring, and build a nose but everything is basically finished.
Did the accomplishments of this month meet the objectives of your work plan: Yes we have over succeeded expectations.
Identify specific problems, information of skills needed or help required: Trying to make to canopy to fit inside the tin without popping out.
Identify where you plan to go get the information, skills, or help needed: Mr. Harvey (our electric car teacher) suggested cutting it down.
