Effective September 1, 2009, OPPD began offering Net Metering. OPPD had 16 net metering qualified facilities with total generating capacity of 89kW as of December 31, 2010. In 2010, the total estimated amount of energy produced by these customer-generators was 133,394 kWh, and the net kWh received from them was 667 kWh.
