Municipal Services - Traffic Signals and Signs - Rate 351

This rate is available to all governmental agencies in the District’s Service Area where service is reasonably available. It can be used for the operation of traffic signals, signs, flashers, counters or other devices used in the general control of traffic. The service’s electricity must be easily controlled and determined without metering.

Since these services do not require a meter, there is no Basic Service Charge on this rate. The number and type of lamps at each intersection provide a monthly energy calculation. Consideration is given to any signals not used during daylight hours.

Customers are responsible for notifying OPPD of any changes to the service, and must furnish the District with all information needed to calculate the monthly energy consumption.

Net Rate:

An energy charge of 5.45 ¢ / kWh

Plus

A Minimum Monthly Bill of $2.27 per location
