Who qualifies for the uninterruptible power supply program?
All consumers throughout the District’s service area.

Services Provided: The District will rent to consumers UPS systems and warrant them for the Contract Period.

Monthly Charges:
There are two standard types of UPS systems available through OPPD.

    $4.99 per month for a 500 volt amp (VA) unit – with a special surge guard customer discount.

    $12.00 per month for a 1,000 volt amp (VA) unit – with a special surge guard customer discount.

Larger, non-standard UPS systems will be rented at a 3.32% factor.

Special Surge Guard Customer Discount:
OPPD is offering a special discount to customers participating in both the surge guard and UPS programs.

    Customers renting a 500 VA UPS system receive a $1.00 per month discount on their UPS rental.

    Customers renting a 1,000 VA UPS system receive a $2.00 per month discount on their UPS rental.

Delivery Charges:
The consumer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges incurred to deliver the UPS system.

Installation Charges:
Large, non-standard UPS units may require a one-time installation charge.

Contract Period:
The contract period for standard UPS units is one year. A three-year contract is required for larger / specialized units.

Buyout Options:
The consumer may choose to purchase the UPS unit at any time, at a price based on the balance of the contract charges. The purchase prices are:
