OPPD's Residential Energy Conservation Program (RECP) is designed to help customers save energy and money all year long by making it easier to install high-efficiency heat pumps. Heat pumps cool your house in the summer and keep it warm in the winter by moving heat instead of creating it. Customers who install qualifying equipment receive Energy Credit Refunds and a special winter electric rate from OPPD. In addition, OPPD will inspect new systems and verify that they're operating efficiently and economically.
