Tree Clearing Complete, Foundations Installed

As of early June, all of the tree clearing is complete and all the foundations have been installed for the line. About three-quarters of the wire has been installed.  The current schedule has the wire installation finished around mid to late July with the line going into service in August.

Ground "clean-up" has begun in areas where construction is complete and will continue through the summer. OPPD will begin contacting land owners, in "cleaned-up" areas, within the next few weeks to discuss damage settlements. This process will continue through the end of 2008
