OPPD Open House, May 31, 2012
At an open house held on May 31 at the Doubletree Hotel, members of the general public and reporters asked questions of OPPD about Fort Calhoun Station, and basic principles of nuclear power. OPPD representatives were also on hand to discuss the district’s advances in renewable energy, environmental stewardship and energy efficiency.
