Harding Award

J.M. Harding Award of Excellence

Every April, OPPD honors one of its commercial or industrial customers with the J. M. Harding Award of Excellence. Named after the first president of OPPD, the award is given to the customer that best demonstrates the efficient and innovative use of energy.

The following criteria are evaluated to select the award recipient:

• Load Factor
• Total Energy Consumption
• Conservation Practices
• Application of Alternate Energy Sources
• Innovation of Energy Applications
• Environmentally-conscious Business Practices
