- Who qualifies for OPPD's residential rates?
All houses, trailers, single-family dwellings, farms with one residence, or multifamily dwellings (including apartments). Each unit of a multi-family dwelling must have separate cooking facilities and must be individually metered and billed by OPPD. Multifamily dwellings not separately metered are subject to a special billing condition. OPPD must supply service at 240 volts or less.
All services not meeting this criteria qualify for OPPD's commercial or industrial rates.
