State of the Utility

State of the Utility community meetings were originally scheduled the weeks of March 16 and March 23 in Douglas, Sarpy, Washington, Saunders and Nemaha counties.

 

Due to recent developments regarding coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), OPPD is adjusting outreach plans to reflect recommendations from infectious disease experts and will be moving from in-person meetings to putting all information online.

Power With Purpose

OPPD asked and received approval from the Board of Directors to negotiate and award Request for Proposals (RFP) for new utility-scale solar, modernized replacement and back-up natural gas assets, and voltage support devices.

 

In 2019, OPPD accepted public comment to gauge customer understanding of what we’re trying to solve, the framework that shapes our decisions and the clarity of the analysis. LEARN MORE
