Governor Dave Heineman appointed Tim Gay to the OPPD Board of Directors in January of 2013. He was elected to the board in 2014, and is currently serving his second term with the district.
Gay previously served as board chair, vice chair and, most recently, as treasurer.
The Papillion resident works as a Government Affairs and Public Policy Advisor at Husch Blackwell, a litigation and business services law firm.
Prior to joining the Omaha firm, he served as a Nebraska state senator, representing the 14th Legislative district from 2006 to 2010. Gay also served as a Sarpy County commissioner from 1995 to 2006.
Gay and his wife, Tonee, have three children.
