Tim McAreavey joined OPPD in 2016 as the director of Supply Chain Management and was promoted to vice president of Customer Service in March 2022. 

McAreavey is responsible for leading customer sales and service, energy product development and marketing, customer experience and customer operations. Prior to the customer service role, he led the supply chain management disciplines at OPPD, including sourcing and supply chain solutions, transportation and construction equipment and warehousing.

Before joining OPPD, McAreavey spent 13 years with Cabela’s, leading business and customer service, marketing transformation, strategic planning, process improvement, change management, supply chain management and logistics. He also spent the early years of his career with United Parcel Service in customer service and sales, strategic account management and operations. 

McAreavey is a graduate of Leadership Omaha and serves on the board of Ollie Webb Center, an Omaha area organization serving people with developmental disabilities and their families.

McAreavey has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Regis University.
